The girls are now completely convinced that Sara Harvey is the new "A" and they try to come up with a plan. Aria finds out her parents are engaged again, they wanted to keep the fact that they were back together a secret until they were for sure. Aria is surprised about the news, as she was expecting her dad to confess to murdering Charlotte. She's happy for them though.
Ali goes with Emily to the hospital for her egg donation procedure. She promises to stay with Emily until she wakes up. While under the anesthesia, Emily sees Sara come in dressed as a nurse and inject something into her IV. Emily panics and is completely freaking out until Ali calms her down and insists no one has been in the room. Emily isn't so convinced. A nurse comes in and informs Emily that the couple who planned on using her eggs got pregnant so they won't be needing them. Em asks if she can donate them anyways and they start the paper work.
Hanna and Caleb meet and discuss a plan for what to do about this new "A". They have to find the security tapes first and Hanna suspects her mother had something to do with their disappearance. We see a flashback to when they were together in New York towards the end of their relationship.
Hanna goes to New York to meet with her boss who has basically replaced her. Her boss treats her terribly and threatens to fire Hanna. Hanna has had enough and quits. She tells her boss she should treat people better. Hanna ends up leaving town with Jordan, asking him to just keep driving away from New York and Rosewood.
Spencer and Aria unite at the hotel to spy on Sara. They book the room next door and climb across the balconies and break into her empty room. They look around and find a map of Radley. It turns out, Sara's room was Charlotte's room when it was a Sanitarium. That freaks the girls out. Aria disappears in the closet and Spencer goes to look for her but discovers an enormous hole in the wall and a ladder leading down into darkness.
On the bright side, Caleb manages to send new "A" a computer virus which pisses him/her off.
